Great, so I only missed it by TWELVE YEARS. How did I miss all this?
How do I keep missing all this? I'm finding stuff I've never heard of on cartooning! so totally weird. Maybe I should rethink my approach...

i dont know how to get in touch with John so i just write it in here because comments are moderated anyways.
I wanted to ask if you (John) could invite me to your blog. Altho i never wrote a comment as i am more of an observer i really like your view on todays animation and all the drawings you posted etc. Being in switzerland it is and was very hard to obtain inside information on animation and your blog was always a source of much needed information. I would be very happy and thankful if you could invite me.
